2020 NBA Draft Lottery and Combine postponed indefinitely due to coronavirus pandemic

The NBA today announced the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery and NBA Draft Combine, which were both scheduled to take place in May, have bee postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic

"More information on each event will be shared at a later date," the NBA said in a statement. It will continue "to closely monitor the coronavirus pandemic and consult with infectious disease specialists, public health experts and government officials."

The Draft Lottery was scheduled for May 19 in Chicago, with the Draft Combine set for May 19-24, with both events unable to proceed without the regular-season standings finalised.

The league has yet to make an announcement on the 2020 NBA Draft, which is scheduled for June 25.
