DeMarcus Cousins has found a new home after reportedly agreeing to a one-year deal with the Houston Rockets, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Cousins was with the Los Angeles Lakers last season but did not see the court after suffering a torn ACL in pre-season. He was cut at the deadline when the team acquired Markieff Morris.

The 30-year-old last played in an NBA game for the Golden State Warriors in 2018-19 after recovering from a quadriceps tear in April, which followed an Achilles injury while playing for the New Orleans Pelicans in January 2018.

Over the past three seasons, Cousins has managed just 78 games due to injuries.

The four-time All-Star joins James Harden and Russell Westbrook on the Rockets, who despite reports of wanting out of Houston, appear to be staying put for now.

Over nine seasons in the NBA, Cousins has averaged 21.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game,  while shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 33.2 percent from the 3-point line.
