Entering tonight's games leading the NBA All-Star voting, Luka Doncic turned in a performance worthy of a starting role in Chicago.
Doncic scored 15 of his game-high 31 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 123-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

He added 13 rebounds and seven assists on the night and was efficient down the stretch, with his 15 points coming on 5-of-7 from the field.
Doncic kick-started a 13-4 run with a three-pointer midway through the fourth quarter, extending the lead to 116-104 with a layup with 3:48 remaining.

While Doncic ultimately closed the game, he had plenty of help from the Mavericks bench, led by 25 points from Seth Curry, who kept the Mavericks afloat in the third quarter as Doncic Sat with foul trouble.
Curry went 5-of-5 from the three-point line and his offensive burst was much-needed with Kristaps Porzingis (right knee soreness) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (hamstring) sidelined with injuries.
Maxi Kleber added 18 points in his 31 minutes, while Boban Marjanovich was productive in his 13 minutes with 10 points and seven rebounds.
The Dallas bench ultimately outscored the Nets, 62-52.
Spencer Dinwiddie led seven players in double figures with 19 points as the Nets slumped to their fourth-straight loss.
Dzanan Musa added 14 points and Joe Harris, Wilson Chandler, Theo Pinson and Prince had 11 points apiece. DeAndre Jordan recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
