Ben Simmons has suffered a subluxation of the left patella, the Philadelphia 76ers announced on Thursday.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Simmons is listed as out and treatment options are being considered.

Simmons suffered the injury in Philadelphia's win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. He showed some discomfort in his leg after coming up with an offensive rebound in the middle of the third quarter. He then exited the game and didn't return.

Simmons received an MRI on his knee that came back clean. He was considered to be day-to-day.

Through 57 games this season, Simmons is averaging 16.4 points, 8.0 assists, 7.8 rebounds and a league-leading 2.1 steals per game.

At 41-27, the 76ers currently have the sixth-best record in the Eastern Conference.
