Best moments from Amjyot Singh's 2018-19 NBA G-League season

After featuring in 30 games (including 3 starts) for the Oklahoma City Blue during the 2017-18 G-League season, Amjyot Singh was finding it relatively difficult to cut into the regular rotation of the team through the first half of the 2018-19 season.

Up until the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend, he had only featured in six (all in November) of the Blue's 37 games.

A change in scenery seemed to have done the trick.

Over the All-Star Weekend, Amjyot was acquired by the Wisconsin Herd, the G-League affiliate of the NBA's best team - the Milwaukee Bucks.

In the Herd's 15 games since the break, Amjyot had taken the court in seven of those contests. In fact, at one point with the Herd, over a four-game period, Amjyot was averaging a G-League career-high 18 minutes.

Here are some of the standout moments during Amjyot's second season in the G-League including the short stint with his new team:

Most productive game (vs. Oklahoma City Blue, 109-111 L)

In his second game for the team (and the team's fourth game since the break), the Indian baller had the most productive game of his season. Tying a then season-high 18 minutes of playing time, he scored 7 points on 3-of-8 shooting while also recording 4 rebounds and 2 steals against his former team.

En route to the seven points, Amjyot also scored his points for the Herd.

Season-high in minutes & first win (vs. Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 101-99 W)

Amjyot logged 20+ minutes for the first time this season, as he finished with 2 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a block.

This was Amjyot's third game for the team and his first win with the franchsie (team's fifth game since the break).

Third straight game (vs. Westchester Knicks, 95-123 L)

Amjyot logged 20+ minutes for the second straight game, this time recording 5 points on 2-of-4 shooting.

First minutes for the Herd (vs. Agua Caliente Clippers, 93-121 L)

Having not taken the floor in his first game with the team, he did feature in the second game, although it was only for a couple of minutes in a blowout loss.

In his first appearance on the court, for 2:42 minutes, he went 0-1.

Season-high points tally (vs. Texas Legends, 105-108 L)

In the first half of the season, as a member of the Oklahoma City Blue, Amjyot scored a season-high 9 points on 3-of-7 shooting with a rebound and an assist to show for as well.
