Celtics guard Kemba Walker left Boston's game against the Denver Nuggets on a stretcher after running head-first into the chest of his teammate Semi Ojeleye.

The Celtics announced afterwards that Walker had been diagnosed with concussion-like symptoms and was being transported to the hospital for further evaluation. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski added that early indications are that Walker "did not suffer a significant injury."

Walker has since been released from hospital to rejoin the Celtics.

A number of NBA players have taken to Twitter to send their best wishes to the three-time All-Star.

Walker is leading the Celtics in scoring this season with 22.6 points per game. He also ranks second on the team with 4.8 assists per game.

The Celtics entered Friday's game with the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.

We will provide updates on Walker's condition when they become available.
