Street Ball League - Brainchild of the Singha brothers - enters its final weekend of Season 1

After nearly two months of action at the Podar Sports Ground in Mumbai, the inaugural season of the Street Ball League enters its final weekend of action (Dec. 7-8). 

The Street Ball League is India's first semi-professional 3-on-3 league that boasts of 12 men's teams and four women's teams.

At the end of the league stage, here's are the positions of the 12 men's teams in the league standings: 

The top eight teams in the standings advance ahead for the qualifiers with Team Hoop Heads, owned by Esha Gupta & Devarsh Thaker, led by their All-Star Eban Hyams going an undefeated 11-0 to sit atop the men's standings. 

Going into Saturday (Dec. 7), here's a look at the key fixtures: 

In the women's category, each of the four teams played the other twice and now the final is set to be played out on Saturday between the Hoop Heads and the Hot Steppers.

As per the league's press release during its launch, they plan to have more seasons going forward in other cities such as Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Chandigarh.
