Chicago Bulls' Zach LaVine erupts for career-high 49 points; caps off crazy game-ending sequence with game-winner in Charlotte

With 22.8 seconds to go in the game, Terry Rozier knocked down one of two free-throws to put the Charlotte Hornets up by five (113-108).

When the final buzzer rang, the Hornets lost by a point as the Bulls outscored them with a 8-2 run, capped off by this Zach LaVine game-winner:

The game-winner was LaVine's 13th 3-pointer of the night, a franchise record and a tally that puts him alongside some elite all-time 3-point shooting talent in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

LaVine had an extremely efficient 49-point night, finishing 17-of-28 (60.7%) from the field and a super-efficient 13-of-17 (76.5%) from beyond the arc. His 3-point shooting percentage is tied with Stephen Curry for the best single-game 3-pt FG pct in NBA history by anyone who took at least 15 3s

He scored 27 points in the final quarter, three short of Michael Jordan's franchise record, to help the Bulls overcome a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit.

"Once I shot it, I knew it was cash. That was the craziest game I've been a part of," LaVine said after the game.

LaVine, however, wasn't the only player to have a career game. Rookie Coby White finished with a career-high 28, his third 25+ point game this month.

Including this one, in which they came back from a 14-point second-quarter deficit, the Hornets have now had four of their last seven games decided by the last shot of the game (wins vs. the Pistons & Knicks; losses to the Grizzlies & Bulls).
