With nearly the entire world dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the NBA has aimed to support those impacted with it's #NBATogether initiative.

Since the NBA's 2019-20 season was suspended in mid-March, the league's current superstars have stepped up via financial contributions to help the hourly-waged arena workers and others.

Adding to this list Detlef Schrempf, a retired 16-year NBA star, who is rallying current and former sports stars in an attempt to raise donations for Seattle Children's Hospital through his fund: 'Det's Superstars for Seattle Children's COVID-19 Relief'.

The multiple campaigns, as part of 'Det's Superstars for Seattle Children's COVID-19 Relief', include experiences and memorabilia such as 'Golf with Detlef Schrempf and Charles Barkley', signed shoes from Shaquille O'Neal, Ken Griffey Junior's signed bat, and much more.

As per the U.S. News and World Report, Seattle Children's is among the top 10 children's hospitals in the United States.

Schrempf spent six of his 16 seasons in the league in Seattle, including the franchise's NBA Finals trip in 1996. From 1993-1999 with the Sonics, the German forward averaged 16.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists over 415 regular season games.
