Derrick Rose stole the show on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, scoring 17 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter including the game-winning shot with less than one second remaining.
The decisive shot came less than 40 seconds after Rose tied the game with a twisting lay-up in traffic. Here is Rose's shot chart from the fourth quarter and as you can see, he was unstoppable.
The former MVP is enjoying his second-straight strong season, averaging just over 16 points per game while shooting 49 percent from the field, which would tie his career-high for a single season. The 31-year-old point guard is coming off a bounceback season in Minnesota where he averaged 18 points per game in 51 games.
That clutch shot to sink the Pelicans was the seventh time in his career that Rose has hit a game-winner in the final 10 seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime.
Here are the other six.

One of the defining games of Rose's renaissance season in 2018-19 with the Timberwolves came in January when he torched the Phoenix Suns for 31 points including 29 in the second half. Rose's dagger with one second left put an exclamation point on one of his best games of the season which also included a 50-point game.

Rose sank the Warriors before the Warriors became "THE WARRIORS".
En route to winning the NBA title in 2014-15, Golden State lost just 15 times in the entire regular season. One of them came at the hands of Rose who sank a heavily contested long jumper right with Klay Thompson right there in his face. The 2011 MVP finished with 30 points, outscoring that year's eventual MVP Stephen Curry, who finished with 21.

Mired in a shooting slump, Rose overcame his shooting woes to knock down the game-winner on Halloween to beat Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks 82-81 in an ugly back-and-forth affair. Prior to hitting a tough high-arcing shot over two defenders, Rose had been just 6-22 from the field.
Also of note... future Warriors coach Steve Kerr was on the call for TNT!

It feels like an eternity ago.
Rose had yet to suffer his career-altering knee injury and the Bulls were gearing up for a potential deep playoff run as the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Rose looked very much like the reigning MVP in this one, finishing with 30 points and 11 assists, including the decisive dagger over Brandon Jennings.

There's nothing quite like a game-winner to beat Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in the Staples Center on Christmas Day!
After Bryant turned it over with 20 seconds left and the Lakers clinging to a one-point lead, Rose came down on the other end and hit a floater over the outstretched arms of Derek Fisher. Chicago then survived a last-second attempt by Bryant who had his shot blocked by Luol Deng. Rose finished with a game-high 22 points on 9-13 shooting.

Rose's first career game-winning shot in the final 10 seconds came in double overtime against the Wizards in his second season. After missing a shot at the end of regulation that would have won it, Rose assisted on the game-tying shot at the end of the first overtime before then hitting a tough shot in the closing seconds to win it at the end of the second overtime.
Rose finished with 37 points which at the time was a career high.
