By The Numbers: Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes first player in Bucks franchise history to record three consecutive triple-doubles

Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to re-write the record books in Milwaukee after dropping a monster triple-double in their 133-122 win over the Washington Wizards, their fourth win in a row and ninth from their past 10 games.

After beating them for the second time on back-to-back nights, the victory extends their win streak to seven games over the Wizards, with Antetokounmpo recording a combined 64 points, 26 rebounds and 21 assists in the two-game series in D.C.

He finished with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists on the night, shooting 12-of-19 from the field, adding three steals as the Bucks now hold a four-game lead for third place in the Eastern Conference standings, trailing the first-place Philadelphia 76ers by just 2.0 games. 

"He's been in a good place mentally,'' coach Mike Budenholzer said. ``The way he's playing and creating for others and creating for himself and getting to the free-throw line, he's in a good place. He's playing great basketball.

Let's take a closer look at his historic streak:

3: Giannis joins elite club

With the third 31/15/10 game of his career, Antetokounmpo put his name alongside an elite club in NBA history. 

Since 1983, only three players have had more games with that stat line — Russell Westbrook (5), Larry Bird (5) and Luka Doncic (4).

Antetokounmpo also became the third player this season with a triple-double in three-straight games, joining Russell Westbrook, who has done it twice, and Jimmy Butler.

7: Giannis passes Kareem

Whenever you break a record set by Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, you know you're doing something right. 

Antetokounmpo now sits at the top, with the most 30-point triple-doubles in Bucks franchise history with seven, passing the previous mark set by KAJ with six.

17: Giannis leads Bucks franchise 

With his seventh triple-double of the season, Antetokounmpo now has 17 more triple-doubles than any other player in Bucks franchise history. 

No surprises, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sits second, with eight triple-doubles. The only question is how much Antetokounmpo can extend that lead.

He now has 25 triple-doubles for his career and is the 21st player in NBA history to reach that mark and the ninth to do so before his 27th birthday.
