The Golden State Warriors drama hit a stop sign on Thursday in the form of All-Star forward Draymond Green.
Green, who will make his return from a team induced suspension when the Warriors take on the Rockets in Houston on Thursday, spoke to the media and cleared the air of any lingering tension.
"Kevin and I spoke, we're moving forward," Green told reporters via Anthony Slater of the Athletic. "I think there's no secret that I am the emotional player, I wear my emotions on my sleeve ... I play with that same emotion.
"You know sometimes they get the best of me and it doesn't work to my favour ... I'm going to live with that because it works in my favour to the good as my resume speaks and the team resume speaks ... more so than it doesn't."
Green's suspension was served on Tuesday in a game against the Atlanta Hawks after he and teammate Kevin Durant got into a verbal spat on the bench prior to an overtime session in a loss to the LA Clippers.

Green and Durant have gotten into it in the past, but the team felt that Green had crossed the line on Tuesday and decided to sit him down for one game. The suspension came with a $120,000 fine which the three-time All-Star is reportedly set to appeal.
Durant was asked if he and Green had spoken after the Warriors' victory over the Hawks on Tuesday and the two-time Finals MVP kept his response short and sweet.

Everything is magnified now that the Warriors are on the verge of a potential three-peat. Add in the fact that Durant and sharpshooter Klay Thompson will be set for huge paydays in the offseason and emotions have been running at a fever pitch in Golden State.
Green acknowledged that sometimes his emotions get the best of him, but he isn't about to change and will continue to play with an edge.
"I'm never going to change who I am. I'm going to approach the game the same way that I always do and we'll continue to move forward," Green continued. "I read a lot about how 'Is this the end of the run?' ... 'Is it over?' ... or 'Did I ruin it?' ... or 'Did I force Kevin to leave?'
"You know at the end of the day, as I've said before, whatever Kevin decides to do, whatever Klay decides to do, whatever who(ever) decides to do ... we had great years together and I support everybody wholeheartedly 100 percent because as a man, as a human being, you have the right to do what you want to do with your life, so I'll never question that.
"Nobody in this organization from a player ... not myself, not Kevin, not anybody else is going to beat us. If you're one of them other 29 teams in this league, you have to beat us, we aren't going to beat us, we're going to continue to do what we do."
