On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings did something we've never seen before.

For the first time in NBA history, both teams made at least 20 three-pointers in a single game. Whereas the Warriors made 21 of their 47 3-point attempts, the Kings made 20 of their 36 3-point attempts.

The Warriors and Kings also set an NBA record for the most combined 3-pointers made in a game, with 41.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors to a 127-123 win over their division rivals with 10 3-pointers. The two-time MVP finished the game with 42 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Curry received some help from Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, who combined for 49 points on 6-for-13 shooting from deep.

Buddy Hield stole the show for the Kings in scoring 32 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the perimeter. It's the most 3s Hield has made in a game in his NBA career.

Sacramento's second-leading scorer was Justin Jackson. He finished with 28 points (5-7 3PT) in 34 minutes off the bench.

The Warriors entered the game making an average of 12.3 3-pointers per contest, tied with the Brooklyn Nets for the fourth-most in the league. The Kings found themselves a couple of spots below the defending champions in the standings, sitting at No. 8 with 11.8 made 3-pointers.
