It's been nearly a couple of months since the NBA Basketball Schools India program first moved online with their e-coaching lessons to ensure that young kids don't lose their contact with the sport while continuing to adhere to the social distancing guidelines needed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
After multiple current NBA Academy India student-athletes - boys and girls - joined in on their live video sessions, their most recent call included the current Technical Director of the NBA Academy India - Scott Flemming.

Speaking with the kids from Phoenix, Arizona, Coach Flemming spoke on a variety of topics like mental health, ways to practice the perfect shooting form, and more.

Flemming, who began his coaching career in 1982, has been growing the game of basketball in India for the better part of the past decade.
First, as the head coach of the Indian national senior basketball team from November 2012 to April 2015. Then, in October 2017, he joined NBA India as its Senior Director of Basketball Operations before becoming the Technical Director of the NBA Academy India in May of 2019.
