The Houston Rockets joined in the NBA summer frenzy, reportedly pulling off a trade to acquire Russell Westbrook from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Chris Paul and multiple draft picks.

With the NBA landscape taking on a very different look for next season, so do the championship odds for 2019/20.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers remain favourites to win the title, followed by the Milwaukee Bucks, while the Houston Rockets' odds to win the title have climbed from 12-1 to 8-1, putting them alongside the Philadelphia 76ers.

Since trading Paul George and Russell Westbrook, the Thunder's odds have fallen from 40-1 to 500-1.
