Shumpert and Karagach beat out fellow finalists JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson (2nd), Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke (3rd) and Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten (4th) to take home the Mirrorball Trophy.

Shumpert and Karagach received a perfect score of 40 out of 40 for their foxtrot fusion dance to "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire and followed it up with another perfect score with their freestyle to "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott featuring Ciara and Fat Man Scoop and "Bounce" by DJ Client.

Shumpert's performances attracted plenty of support from his former NBA teammates during his stint on the show, with many taking to Twitter to congratulate him.
