Kemba Walker: Boston Celtics All-Star guard cleared to practice with team

Some positive news for the Boston Celtics ahead of their game with the Washington Wizards.

The team has announced All-Star guard, Kemba Walker has been cleared to resume practice with the team in the latest step towards his return to the court.

The 30-year-old recieved a stem cell injection in his left knee back in December, with the team originally projecting his approximate return for late January.

Walker's progress from practice to game time is expected to be monitored closely, though, The Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach has reported it could be as soon as next Friday vs. Orlando.

The four-time All-Star is in his second season with the Celtics, having averaged 20.4 points and 4.8 assists across 56 regular season appearances in 2020.
