Kyle Lowry on Boston Celtics loss: 'I've got to find a way to get a rhythm and get it back going'

Kyle Lowry wasn't happy with his performance against the Boston Celtics on Saturday.

Following the Toronto Raptors' 123-116 overtime loss to their division rival, the four-time All-Star told the media that he's "been playing pretty bad lately" and that he's got to find a way to get his rhythm going again.

"I've been playing pretty bad lately," Lowry said after the game. "Rather, shooting the ball pretty bad lately. I've got to find a way to get a rhythm and get it back going. The last couple of games I haven't been playing well, but that's the ups and downs of the season. Personally, I take it really seriously and it bothers me when I don't play well."

Lowry came out of the gates on fire this season with 17.2 points, 11.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in Toronto's 12-1 start, but he's struggled in the team's three-game losing streak.

While he bounced back from a 1-for-9 shooting performance against the New Orleans Pelicans with a solid 14-point, 7-rebound, 7-assist showing against the Detroit Pistons - a game the Raptors lost at the buzzer - Lowry scored 14 points on 12 shot attempts against the Celtics on Saturday.

It doesn't help that Kyrie Irving went off for Boston, recording a 43-point, 11-assist double-double. Whereas he came up huge down the stretch for the Celtics with 23 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, Lowry took only four shots in the game's final 18 minutes, making one of them.

Lowry and the Raptors will have an opportunity to get back on track on Sunday when they travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls (4-11). Lowry has a history of playing well against the Bulls with averages of 16.8 points, 6.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 28 career games.

A bounce-back game from Lowry would solve a lot of Toronto's problems right now.
