The LA Clippers will be without All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard for the second consecutive game as he'll be held out in their matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.
Head coach Doc Rivers said during his pregame availability that Leonard is still nursing a left knee contusion and he should be considered "day-to-day". He also mentioned that the return of All-Star forward Paul George has not factored into the team's decision to continue to rest Kawhi.

This will be the fourth game that Leonard has missed this season and the Clippers are 0-3 in games without their star forward thus far. Kawhi is averaging 26.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 6.0 assists over nine games and LA boasts a 7-2 record with him in the lineup.
This spoils what was expected to be the debut of the Clippers' dynamic duo of Leonard and George.
George returned to action for the first time this season in LA's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, going for 33 points, nine rebounds and four assists in his Clippers debut.
The next opportunity we'll have to see these two in action together comes on Tuesday, Nov. 19 when the Clippers host the Oklahoma City Thunder.
