The NBA has announced it has fined Rajon Rondo $35,000 for a series of events that occurred during the Los Angeles Lakers win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It was determined that Rondo made "unsportsmanlike physical contact" with Thunder guard, Dennis Schroder in an incident that occurred with 10:20 remaining in the fourth quarter for which he was assessed a flagrant two foul.
Rondo was also charged with "verbal abuse of a game official" and "failing to leave the court in a timely manner".

The Lakers would ultimately win the game 130-127, though, it was the first distraction of the season from the enigmatic point guard, who was appearing in just his fifth game of the season. Rondo is averaging 7.2 points - his lowest mark since his rookie season in 2007 - and 5.6 assists in 20.4 minutes per night.
The Lakers currently hold a 13-2 record on the season, good for the best in the NBA.
