The Milwaukee Bucks just keep on winning and enter Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks on an 18-game winning streak.
With Luka Doncic now ruled out of the highly anticipated matchup with reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo following an ankle injury over the weekend, the Bucks are double-digit favourites and thus likely to enter Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers looking for their 20th straight win.
As it stands now, Milwaukee's current streak is tied for the 11th-longest in NBA history with this being the longest in a single season since the Golden State Warriors started 24-0 to begin the 2015-16 regular season.
How long will it continue?
FiveThirtyEight.com's RAPTOR metric predicts every game and using that tool, we can see just how likely it is that Milwaukee keeps winning.
For instance, that metric has the Bucks with a 64% chance to win on Friday against the Lakers.

Looking ahead into the future, Milwaukee could reach 33 straight wins on January 15 at home against the New York Knicks while the record-breaking 34th win would be January 17 at home against the Boston Celtics. Over that span, the only game that FiveThirtyEight's RAPTOR metric doesn't favour the Bucks is on Dec. 26. As it stands down, the metric projects the Bucks with a 34% chance of winning that game.
Taking all of the probabilities into account, the Bucks currently have about a 1 in 169 chance of reaching 34 straight wins.
In addition to the obviously tricky games against the Lakers, 76ers and Celtics, some other potential landmines:
- Three sets of back-to-backs, none of which are both at home
- Four games in six days, all on the road
- Injuries! (you never know)
Here is a game-by-game breakdown with all percentages courtesy of FiveThirtyEight.com.

For what it's worth, FiveThirtyEight has a different method of predicting games based off their ELO ratings. That version likes the Bucks even more.
