NBA 2K Players Tournament: Day two results, highlights and more

Day 2 of the NBA 2K Players Tournament is in the books!

NBA stars are going head-to-head in day two of the single-elimination NBA 2K20 tournament, battling to be crowned the ultimate NBA 2K20 champion and win $100,000 to be donated toward coronavirus relief efforts.

Day 2 saw Montrezl Harrell, Rui Hachimura, Devin Booker, and Andre Drummond advance to the quarter-finals, where they'll join Derrick Jones Jr, Trae Young, Deandre Ayton and Patrick Beverly.

Here's how the quarter-final matchups look:

(16) Derrick Jones Jr. vs. (8) Montrezl Harrell

(5) Devin Booker vs. (13) Rui Hachimura

(2) Trae Young vs. (10) Deandre Ayton

(6) Andre Drummond vs. (14) Patrick Beverley

(8) Montrezl Harrell [LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS] vs. (9) Domantas Sabonis [INDIANA PACERS] - (73-51) Harrell advances

Montrezl Harrell advances to the second round with a comfortable 22-point win!

(4) Donovan Mitchell [BROOKLYN NETS] vs. (13) Rui Hachimura [LOS ANGELES LAKERS] - (74-71) Hachimura advances

It came right down to the wire, as Hachimura escaped with the win after Mitchell missed a late three-point attempt with Spencer Dinwiddie at the buzzer to tie things up.

(5) Devin Booker [MILWAUKEE BUCKS] vs. (12) Michael Porter Jr. [LOS ANGELES LAKERS] - (85-75) Booker advances

Booker and Porter Jr. traded trash talk all game in an entertaining matchup as the Suns guard held on for a 10-point win!

(6) Andre Drummond [LOS ANGELES LAKERS] vs. (11) DeMarcus Cousins [BROOKLYN NETS] - (101-49) Drummond advances

Andre Drummond flexed his muscles on the controllers, crusing to a 52-point win to advance to the quarter-finals.

Team selection

Each player has been assigned eight teams that they can choose from.

The catch: they can't be the same team twice, so players must choose wisely as they try and win four-consecutive games with four different teams to be crowned champion.
