NBA All-Star 2019: Hamidou Diallo wins Slam Dunk contest over Dennis Smith Jr.

#Diallo

Hamidou Diallo reigned supreme after soaring above the competition to claim the 2019 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk title.

Rookie sensation Miles Bridges wasn't able to land his first dunk and, along with John Collins, couldn't make it through to the final.

Dennis Smith Jr. had the crowd's attention when he soared over a seated J Cole with the emphatic dunk.

But it was Diallo who blew everyone away with his second attempt of the night.

Bringing out NBA legend Shaquille O'Neale, Diallo went up and over the 7-footer and ended the dunk with his elbow in the rim for the perfect 50.

Smith Jr. struggled throughout the championship rounds as Diallo continued to amaze the crowd with his aerial feats.

His final dunk of the night saw him jump over 2018 Celebrity Game MVP Quavo to seal the result with a final score of 45.
