The NBA has officially partnered with Fortnite to create NBA outfits, NBA Team Battles and more within the world of the massively popular video game.

Epic Games, the creator of Fornite, announced the news on Wednesday morning with a blog post, which included images of the 30 team outfits that will be available to players on May 21.

From the blog post: Ahead of the 2021 NBA Playoffs, the league is joining Fortnite for the first time ever! Coinciding with the debut of the State Farm NBA Play-In Tournament, Fortnite x NBA: The Crossover brings basketball's best into the Item Shop and Fortnite Creative, and with Team Battles, a unique experience featuring all 30 NBA teams in Fortnite.

Debuting on May 21, 2021 at 8pm ET, players can suit up and rep any of the league's 30 teams. The In The Paint Set includes 31 uniforms, including all 30 NBA teams.

Taking place May 19 - 23, visit the Fortnite x NBA Team Battles official page to sign up and support your favorite NBA team -- plus have a shot at earning in-game rewards and V-Bucks.

In addition to the NBA outfits, the partnership will create special Player 'Locker Bundles' that will include personal favourite Fortnite items used by NBA players Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young when they play the game. These bundles will be available for players to purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop next week.

Check out the blog post from Epic Games for more details on the partnership.
