According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Golden State Warriors star guard Klay Thompson has been ruled out for Game 3.

Thompson suffered a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter of Game 2 that kept the star shooting guard sidelined for the remainder of the contest.

The Warriors are already shorthanded as Kevon Looney's fractured collarbone will keep him out for the rest of The Finals and Kevin Durant's calf injury will keep him sidelined for Game 3.

DeMarcus Cousins (quad) returned to action in Game 2 and Andre Iguodala has yet to miss a game in this series with a lignering calf injury, but both players are still fighting through some discomfort.

With Thompson ruled out, the Warriors motto of "Strength in Numbers" will have to continue to prove itself as it has so far this postseason with different players stepping up in the absence of their regular rotation guys.
