NBA Finals 2019: Players react to Klay Thompson's exit from Game 6 with an apparent left knee injury

Klay Thompson had channeled 'Game 6 Klay' to help the Kevin Durant-less Warriors fend off elimination yet again.

Attempting a dunk in the third quarter, Thompson awkwardly landed and immediately grabbed his left knee. 

He was headed back to the locker room but returned momentarily to knock down two free-throws.

As he knocked down the free-throws and returned to the locker room, NBA players, past andp present threw huge praise towards Thompson for his toughness:







Thompson, who eventually left the arena on crutches, was the game's leading scorer before his injury with 30 points. He made eight of his 12 shot attempts, including four of his six 3-point attempts.
