Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby has been upgraded to active for Game 2 of the Finals, according to head coach Nick Nurse.
It's Game 2 time. OG Anunoby will be activated tonight but Nick Nurse doesn't know if that changes much, doesn't expect to play him tonight. #WeTheNorth #NBAFinals pic.twitter.com/Ky2JOqriFD- Laura Armstrong (@lauraarmy) June 2, 2019
Anunoby hasn't played since Toronto's final game of the regular season after undergoing an emergency appendectomy the day before the playoffs began. He was questionable for Game 1 of the Finals but was eventually ruled out.
Raptors head coach Nick Nurse did, however, tell reporters prior to Game 1 of the Finals that the plan was for Anunoby to be activated for Game 2.

Anunoby averaged 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.7 steals per game in his sophomore season. He missed a total of 15 games (not including playoffs) throughout due to a combination of personal reasons and injury.
Anunoby gives the Raptors another capable shooter and versatile defender if he's able to play. He matched up with Jonas Jerebko the most in Toronto's two games against the Golden State Warriors this season, but he also spent time on Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
