Free Agent point guard Cory Joseph has reportedly agreed to a 3-year, $37 million deal with the Sacramento Kings, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Drafted in 2011 as the 29th overall by the San Antonio Spurs, the Kings will be the fourth team of Joseph's career after previously playing for the Toronto Raptors and the Indiana Pacers.

In the 2018-19 season as a member of the Pacers, Joseph averaged 6.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists on 41.2% shooting from the field as a back-up in all 82 games of the season. For his career, he averages 6.9 points, 2.8 assists, and 2.6 assists on 44.4% shooting from the field.

The Canadian point guard joins a Kings squad that earlier in the 2019 free agency window agreed to deals with forwards Trevor Ariza and Harrison Barnes while also reportedly signing center Dewayne Dedmon.

Joseph will be part of a Kings' squad that travels to India in October for the NBA India Games - a couple of preseason games against the Indiana Pacers - in Mumbai on October 4 and 5.

Players can negotiate agreements with teams on July 1st but contracts can't be officially signed until the new league year begins on July 7.
