According to multiple reports, the Boston Celtics have landed Kemba Walker on a four-year, $141 million deal.

It appears the deal will work as a sign-and-trade, as The Athletic's Shams Charania has reported that the Charlotte Hornets have signed former Celtics point guard Terry Rozier on a three-year deal worth $58 million.
The two deals have yet to be officially linked to each other, but the assumption is they will intertwine.
Walker was eligible for a five-year, $221 million supermax, but the Hornets chose not to offer their franchise guard the full amount. The Celtics swooped in to offer Walker a max, and it now seems as though the Hornets will get Rozier as the All-Star's replacement.
Walker is coming off of his first bid as an All-Star starter, averaging a career-high 25.6 points, 5.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game with the Hornets.
Rozier is coming off of a season where he made a major sacrifice in playing time after leading the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2018 playoffs. He averaged 9.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
Players can negotiate agreements with teams on July 1st but contracts can't be officially signed until the new league year begins on July 7.
