Jimmy Butler's time with the Philadelphia 76ers is reportedly over.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Miami Heat are finalizing a sign-and-trade with the 76ers for Butler. Butler is expected to sign a four-year, $142 million deal with the Heat.

The 76ers will get Josh Richardson in return. Marc Stein of The New York Times added that the Heat have to send out other players, however, to "make the salary cap math work."

The 76ers acquired Butler from the Minnesota Timberwolves in November of the 2018-19 season. Butler appeared in 55 regular season games with the 76ers and averaged 18.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest.

Butler then helped the 76ers push the Toronto Raptors to the brink of elimination in the second round of the playoffs, posting 22.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.6 rebounds per game in the seven-game series.

In Richardson, the 76ers are getting a strong two-way player who brings some much-needed shooting in wake of JJ Redick leaving Philadelphia for New Orleans.

The 76ers have also reportedly signed Al Horford to a four-year, $109 million contract.

Players can negotiate agreements with teams on July 1st but contracts can't be officially signed until the new league year begins on July 7.
