One of the best shooters on the free agent market is no longer available.

According to a report from The Athletic's Shams Charania, Bucks forward Nikola Mirotic has decided to make his return to Euroleague play by signing with Barcelona.

Mirotic, who played with Real Madrid from 2008-14, was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He made his NBA debut in the 2014-15 season with the Chicago Bulls, earning All-Rookie First Team Honours.

The 28-year-old forward appeared in 46 regular-season games in the 2018-19 season and was traded from New Orleans to Milwaukee ahead of the deadline. Mirotic averaged 11.6 points while shooting 35.6% from deep in 14 regular-season games as a Buck.

In the postseason, Mirotic averaged 9.5 points over 14 games (eight starts) but struggled to get going from deep as he shot as a 28.9% clip.

According to Charania, Mirotic stood to sign a deal worth $45-50 million. Teams that had their eyes on Mirotic will have to look elsewhere to fill the void for perimeter shooting.

Conflicting reports have come regarding the finances, but a report from Chema de Lucas states that the deal is for four seasons.
