2019 has been a year of growth for NBA League Pass, the official platform that provides live NBA action on demand.

With daily content highlighted by games (regular season and playoffs) and subsequent press conferences, the platform continues to increase its relevance for those seeking a different NBA viewing experience.

International growth exceeded all numbers from previous seasons as users subscribed to NBA League Pass invested approximately 2 billion minutes - a gigantic figure distributed throughout 227 countries.

The most watched games of the year

Here are the four most-watched games from the regular season.

1) Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors (December 25)

The Christmas Day clash between the Lakers and Warriors was perhaps the most anticipated game of the entire season as it was the first meeting between James and the Warriors since the 2018 NBA Finals.

Despite pulling out the win in emphatic fashion, this game ultimately proved to be the beginning of the end for the Lakers season when LeBron James sustained a groin injury in the third quarter of this game. He would miss the next 17 games.

4) Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors (October 16)

The season debut for the two-time defending champions. Kevin Durant vs Russell Westbrook.

In addition to the existing rivalry between the two teams, the history between OKC and Kevin Durant put forward a perfect scenario to open the season on October 16.

Stephen Curry's 32 points were enough to lead the Warriors to a 108-100 win over the Thunder in what was the fourth-most watched game of the year.
