LeBron James leads NBA players' top earners according to Forbes

LeBron James is The King for a reason and he continues his reign atop the NBA players in terms of earning power.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar topped the highest-paid player list for the fifth consecutive year according to Forbes.

James' earning power is unmatched with one of the games greatest ever players racking in a staggering $6.3b INR in earnings. A total of $3.7 was made off the court.

He leads the way ahead of Golden State Warriors superstar teammates Stephen Curry ($5.6b) and Kevin Durant (4.6b).

Rounding out the top five are a pair of former teammates in Russell Westbrook ($3.8b) and James Harden ($3.3b).

James' fortune has been built around lucrative endorsement deals with Nike, Coca-Cola and Beats By Dre. Not to mention his Hollywood production company (SpringHill Entertainment) and his investment in Blaze Pizza.

Currently in his 16th season in the league, James has an estimated net worth of $31.95b.

Combined the top 10 players will earn an astronomical $38.3b in 2019, up more than $12.78b from five years ago.

Rounding out the top 10 are Chris Paul ($3.1b), Giannis Antetokounmpo ($3b), Damian Lillard ($2.9b), Blake Griffin ($2.7b) and Paul George ($2.7b).
