Bradley Beal
Beal earns Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time in his career after leading the Wizards to a 2-1 record from Dec. 3 to Dec. 9.
Over the week, the All-Star guard averaged 30.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 50.0 percent from the field. Beal opened the week with a 27-point performance (on 12-for-25 shooting) in a road win over the New York Knicks Monday. In addition to his big scoring night, the 25-year-old grabbed eight boards and dished out seven dimes.
On Wednesday, the Wizards earned a 14-point win over the Hawks behind Beal, who finished with 36 points on 12-for-22 shooting from the field and 10-for-13 shooting from the charity stripe, stuffing the stat sheet with nine assists and six rebounds.

Washington's lone loss of the week came Saturday night in Cleveland, but Beal continued his outstanding play. In 33 minutes of action, he finished with a team-high 27 points to go along with five assists and four rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Wizards suffered a 15-point loss.
While Washington (11-15) still struggles to find its way, the play of Beal can be the force to get the team back into playoff conversations. Through 26 games, the seventh-year guard is averaging 22.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists in just over 35 minutes of action.
If Beal can continue his high-level play, he could very well earn the second All-Star selection of his career.
Stephen Curry
After missing 11 games with an adductor injury, Curry returned in a losing effort to close the week of Dec. 2. He was back to form this past week as the Warriors essentially cruised to a perfect 3-0 record.
Over the Warriors' three games, Curry averaged 30.7 points and 5.7 assists while shooting a blazing 57.6 percent from beyond the arc. It began Monday, as Curry went for 30 points while shooting 10-for-17 from the field and 6-for-10 from deep in a 17-point win over the Hawks.
Wednesday, Golden State travelled to Cleveland for the first time since Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Things were much different from their meeting in mid-June, but Curry was the same – he exploded for 42 points, sinking nine of his 14 3-point attempts and the Warriors defeated the Cavs by 24 points. He added nine rebounds and seven assists in the win.

The defending champs closed their week with an impressive 10-point win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. In Milwaukee, Curry scored 20 points and connected on four of his nine attempts from deep.
After their perfect week, the Warriors (18-9) again sit atop the Western Conference standings and Curry (29.6 ppg, 5.8 apg, 5.1 rpg) is re-establishing himself as the favourite in this season's MVP race.
This is the second Player of the Week honour for Curry this season and the 14th win of his career. With the way he is playing, it won't likely be the last for him this season.
