It was a bittersweet win for the Portland Trail Blazers.

With a double-overtime victory over the Brooklyn Nets, the franchise clinched its sixth-straight playoff berth. However, en route to the win, in the second overtime period, their starting center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a serious left leg injury which saw him carried off on a stretcher.

It didn't take long for everybody to realise the severity of the injury and prayers from Nurkic's peers came in quick over Twitter:

Before he could see all the wishes on Twitter, the fans at the Moda Center made sure he heard their support as he was being carted off.

In 2017, Nurkic suffered a broken right leg, ending his season. He went on to appear in a career-high 79 games in the 2017/18 season after a strong comeback and has played in 72 of a possible 73 games this season.
