NBA Playoffs 2019: NBA Players tweet support to Kevin Durant, who exited Game 5 vs. Rockets with strained calf

No one wants an NBA playoff series to be decided by an injury and no one would know that better than NBA players themselves.

As the Houston Rockets were making their comeback from trailing by as many as 20 points in Game 5, Kevin Durant was forced to leave the game with 2:05 remaining in the period.

The Warriors, a few minutes later, reported that Durant wouldn't return for the game and had strained his right calf:

Prior to the official update, past and present NBA players tweeted in support of the two-time reigning Finals MVP:

Durant suffered a similar injury last season.
