The Golden State Warriors official injury report ahead of Game 1 versus the Houston Rockets has star guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson listed as 'questionable', each battling a right ankle sprain.

The injury report doesn't come as much of a surprise as both Curry and Thompson tweaked their ankle in the Warriors' series-clinching Game 6 win over the LA Clippers. They each finished the contest after rolling their ankle, playing 38 and 39 minutes, respectively.

Curry was asked about his ankle injury as he hobbled into his post-Game 6 press conference, to which he responded "it's fine, I'll be ready for (Game 1)."

When Thompson was asked the very same question following Game 6, he stated "it's a little sore but I anticipate going fully (for Game 1)."

The most recent reports indicated that Thompson's ankle is in 'pretty bad shape' but when Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr was asked about that report, he joked that the reporters have better sources than he does.

Curry is coming off of a first series where he averaged 24.7 points shooting 50% from the field and from beyond the arc to go with 6.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.

Thompson posted 17.3 points per game shooting 46.5% from the field and 41.7% from three over the six-game series.

The Clippers taking the Warriors to six games could certainly play a role in The Splash Brothers' health moving forward in the Conference Semifinals as they only have one day in between games.

Despite being listed as 'questionable' it appears that both Golden State guards have all intentions of suiting up for Game 1, but it something worth monitoring prior to tip-off on Monday.
