The Toronto Raptors are one win away from the NBA Finals.

Led by Kawhi Leonard, who scored a game-high 35 points, the Raptors took Game 5 in Milwaukee by a final score of 105-99. Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry and Marc Gasol each struggled offensively, but the Raptors got a huge boost off the bench from Fred VanVleet, who scored a playoff career-high 21 points.

If you missed any of the action, check below for updates, stats and highlights from Game 5.

Toronto Raptors vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Final score: Raptors 105, Bucks 99

- That'll do it! The Raptors win another thriller to give them a 3-2 series lead. They'll have their first opportunity to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals on Saturday, when the Eastern Conference Finals returns to Toronto for Game 6.

- It wasn't pretty, but Pascal Siakam gets a dunk off of a scrambled play to make it 102-97.

The Raptors are 16 seconds away from taking a 3-2 series lead.

- Raptors take a timeout with 23.4 to play. They lead 100-97 and have possession of the ball. Massive inbound coming for the Raptors.

- It's been a struggle for Pascal Siakam offensively, but he's been everywhere defensively in this game.

- HUGE offensive rebound by Marc Gasol off of Kawhi Leonard's miss. He gets fouled by Brook Lopez, sending him to the free throw line, where he goes 1-for-2 to extend Toronto's lead to 100-97. 34 seconds to play.

- Kawhi Leonard splits a pair of free throws after being fouled on a drive to the basket to make it a two possession game, 99-95. 1:12 to play.

- How do the Raptors respond? A 3-pointer from Fred VanVleet, who now has 21 points in the game.

- And the game is tied at 93 after a Brook Lopez 3-pointer, his first of the game.

- Giannis Antetokounmpo hits a 3-pointer to cut Toronto's lead to two points, 92-90, with 4:04 to play. Huge shot by The Greek Freak.

- The Raptors have been incredibly defensively so far in the fourth quarter. They've held the Bucks to six points in almost six minutes of play.

It helps that Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol have both come up with big blocks, one coming on Giannis Antetokounmpo...

...the other on Brook Lopez:

Toronto leads 89-81 with 6:20 to play.

- It's Kawhi Leonard time. He has 10 points in the period alone, and the Raptors lead 85-81.

- Fred VanVleet hits another 3-pointer, giving him 18 points for the game. That's a playoff career-high for him.

This stat is particularly insane:

- The good news for the Raptors: Kawhi Leonard is off to a hot start in the fourth quarter with four quick points. The bad news for the Raptors: Leonard now has four fouls with 9:43 to play.

End of third quarter: Bucks 75, Raptors 72

- The Raptors and Bucks both score 26 points in the third quarter to make it a three-point game going into the fourth.

According to ESPN, the Bucks are 33-0 at home this season when leading going into the fourth quarter. Will that streak continue or can the Raptors snap it?

- A Kawhi Leonard 3-pointer makes it a one-point game, 71-70, with 1:32 to play.

- Fred VanVleet makes another 3-pointer, his third of the period. He's been huge for the Raptors this quarter.

- Fred VanVleet hits back-to-back 3-pointers to make it a four-point game.

The Raptors always seem to have an answer.

- Giannis Antetokounmpo is starting to take over. He already has five points in the third quarter, giving him 18 for the game.

This dunk put the Bucks ahead 63-51:

- Giannis Antetokounmpo puts the Bucks up double figures, 61-51, by splitting his free throws.

- It's been all Bucks to start the third quarter. Kyle Lowry got the Raptors on the board first with a 3-pointer, but the Bucks have since gone on an 11-2 run to stretch their lead to 60-51.

Big minutes coming up for the Raptors.

End of second quarter: Bucks 49, Raptors 46

- The Raptors outscore the Bucks 24-17 in the second quarter to make it a one possession game at the half. Pascal Siakam led the way for the Raptors with eight points in the period. Kyle Lowry also made an impact with seven points.

For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored nine of their 17 points in the second quarter.

This one is setting up to be another good one.

- There's not much you can do to stop this:

- Congratulations to Kyle Lowry, who is now Toronto's all-time leader in playoff points!

- The Raptors and Bucks are trading baskets now. It's tied at 43 with 1:19 to play in the first half.

- And the Raptors have their first lead of the game off of a floater from Kyle Lowry. What a turnaround.

- The Raptors have tied the game at 34 with a 14-2 run to open the second quarter.

After shooting 12-for-22 in the first quarter, the Bucks are 1-for-10 since. The Raptors have also forced the Bucks into three turnovers this quarter.

- Despite a slow start, the Raptors continue to chip away at the lead. They opened the second quarter with five points and held the Bucks scoreless for three minutes until Giannis Antetokounmpo got them back on the board with an acrobatic layup in transition.

Kyle Lowry will be at the free throw line following the timeout with a chance to make it a five-point game.

End of first quarter: Bucks 32, Raptors 22

- Rough start for the Raptors. They shot 35.0 percent from the field in the first quarter and committed four turnovers.

The Bucks, meanwhile, shot 54.5 percent and assisted on 11 of their 12 baskets. They look like the Bucks again.

There's also this:

Yikes.

- Moving Malcolm Brogdon into the starting lineup is paying off for the Bucks. He's up to eight points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field and a perfect 2-2 from the 3-point line.

- Kawhi Leonard picks up his second foul of the game, just in time for him to go to the bench for his usual rest. Pascal Siakam, who also has two fouls, replaces him.

- Second timeout of the quarter. The Bucks lead 20-11 with 4:54 to play.

The Raptors are fortunate Kawhi Leonard has the touch early — he's scored eight of their 11 points on 3-for-5 shooting from the field. He'll have a chance to add to his point total after the timeout with a free throw.

- This is one way to snap out of a shooting slump:

- A 3-pointer from Eric Bledsoe gives him seven points already. The only time he's scored in double figures in this series was Game 3, when he scored 11 points.

- A dunk from Brook Lopez puts the Bucks ahead 11-3, forcing Raptors head coach Nick Nurse to take a timeout with 9:09 to play in the first quarter.

Turnovers are hurting the Raptors to start this game, as they already have three compared to only one by the Bucks.

- Pascal Siakam already has two fouls in less than two minutes of play. Norman Powell replaces him.

- A good sign for the Bucks: Eric Bledsoe is off to an aggressive start. After knocking down his first jump shot — a midrange pull-up — Bledsoe draws a shooting foul on Pascal Siakam on a drive to the basket. He has four of Milwaukee's seven points to start the game.

Pregame

- The Bucks are switching things up a little by starting Malcolm Brogdon in place of Nikola Mirotic. The four other starters — Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez — will be the same.

This will be the first time Brogdon has started since returning from his injury.

- Same starters for the Raptors: Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol.

- Raptors head coach Nick Nurse told the media before the game that Kawhi Leonard looked a bit fresher than he did ahead of Game 4. There's still no word on what kind of injury Leonard is dealing with, but he appeared to be favouring his leg at times in Games 3 and 4.
