The 2019 NBA Playoffs are heating up!

Every day from now until the end of the postseason, our NBA.com Staff will bring you one top performer following the completion of the playoff games on that night.

You'll be able to see the best performance and three honourable mentions from each night, while also having access to all prior "Player of the Day" files, as we see who can tally the most honours these playoffs.

Today's player of the day is...

Kevin Durant

Team's result: Warriors 129, Clippers 110

Stat line: 50 points (15-26 FG, 6-14 3PT, 14-15 FT), 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block

Kevin Durant was unconcious in this one, torching the Clippers from the very start.

Durant went for 38 points in the first half, tying the second-most points scored in any half in NBA Playoffs history. He finished with a playoff career-high of 50 points which also tied Damian Lillard's performance for the most points in a game in the 2019 Playoffs.

Honourable mentions

Draymond Green

Stat line: 16 points (8-14 FG), 14 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 blocks

Green did a little bit of everything for Golden State, notching his fifth career playoff triple-double, the most in Warriors history. With his stat line and his team's win, the Warriors are now 26-0 (regular season and playoffs) when Draymond records a triple-double.

Danilo Gallinari

Stat line: 29 points (11-24 FG, 3-7 3PT), 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block

Gallinari did all he could to keep up with the Warriors offensively, scoring 29 points. His efficiency wasn't quite there and without the scoring help from Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, the result didn't fall in his team's favour.

Patrick Beverley

Stat line: 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3PT), 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal

Beverley left everything he had on the court in this series and Game 6 was no different. He finished a few assists shy of a triple-double and did everything he could to try and slow down Durant but the Clippers fell short and it wasn't from lack of effort.
