NBA Playoffs 2020: Previewing the four-game slate on deck for Day 5 of the postseason

The 2020 postseason has gotten off to a blazing start!

The East teams scheduled to play on Saturday - Celtics and Raptors - will look to extend their series leads to 3-0. On the other hand, the four West teams suiting up on Saturday will all be looking to take control of a 1-1 series with an important victory in Game 3.

Here's a rundown of Saturday's slate and what's at stake in each of the games:

All win probabilities are per FiveThirtyEight's NBA Predictions model. All times in IST.

Toronto Raptors @ Brooklyn Nets - Game 3 @ 11:00 PM (Aug. 21, Friday)

Win probability: Raptors - 86%

Just like Game 1, the Nets battled hard in Game 2. They led for a majority of the first three quarters but got outscored 30-19 in the final period to eventually lose the game.

This is only the second time in franchise history that the Raptors have started their postseason by winning the first two games. and they are heavily favoured to win Game 3 as well.

What makes matters more difficult for the Nets is that Joe Harris, who left the bubble after Game 2, will not be available for Game 3.

Denver Nuggets @ Utah Jazz - Game 3 @ 1:30 AM

Win probability: Nuggets - 60%

Despite not having the Mike Conley for the second straight game, the Utah Jazz rallied behind the duo of Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson to win Game 2 and level the series.

24 hours before Game 3, Conley is listed as 'Probable' to play. With no home-and-away involved, who'll grab the momentum with a Game 3 win?

Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers - Game 3 @ 4:00 AM

Win probability: Celtics - 59%

After winning by just eight in Game 1, the Celtics cruised to victory in Game 2 by 27 points.

One of the standout points common to both games was Jayson Tatum's stellar play.

Will Game 3 be more of the same - unstoppable Tatum and a Celtics win - or can the 76ers show some fight and pull one back?

LA Clippers @ Dallas Mavericks - Game 3 @ 6:30 AM

Win probability: Clippers - 64%

With no ejections in Game 2, the Mavericks offence erupted to hand the championship favorites a stunning loss in Game 2. Will lightning strike twice or will the Clippers return with impactful changes?

Win or loss, Slovenian sensation Luka Doncic has been the talking point of the series so far. Which record will he break in Game 3 of his debut postseason?
