After playing four relatively close games this series, all decided by an average margin of eight points per game, the Jazz seemed to be in no mood for a close contest in Game 5.
Blitzing the Grizzlies with a 47-point first quarter, which included nine 3-pointers and capped off by Mike Conley's buzzer-beater, Utah never looked back and eventually cruised to a 126-110 win.

Donovan Mitchell, who finished with team-high tallies of 30 points (11-16 FGs) and 10 assists, had 14 points in the first period.

The Jazz led this game by a maximum of 35 as they put their strengths of efficient 3-point shooting and balanced team offence into overdrive.
Utah knocked down 17 3-pointers, becoming the first team in NBA history to knock down at least 17 3-pointers in four straight playoff games, while finishing with five players that had at least 17 points.
Jordan Clarkson did what he's been doing by all season, scoring 24 points in 31 minutes off the bench. Rudy Gobert finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks while the duo of Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O'Neale combined for 34 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and six steals.
Despite the quick five-game series, Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant balled out in his debut postseason.

In this one, he finished with 27 points and 11 assists while being supported by 27 from Dillon Brooks, but outside of that duo, the Grizzlies couldn't keep up with Jazz's offence that shot 51.6% from the field and raced to an insurmountable lead early.
With this victory, Utah advances to their third Conference Semifinals in the last five years and the first since 2018.
