After steamrolling to a dominant 3-0 series lead in their first-round matchup against the Washington Wizards, things have suddenly started looking shaky for the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4.
With 36.5 seconds left in the first quarter of Game 4, league MVP finalist Joel Embiid subbed out of the game to never return.
During halftime, after he spent the entire second quarter in the locker room, the team provided clarity on his absence.

When he left the game, he had recorded eight points, six rebounds, two assists and a block in 11 minutes of action.
Earlier in the quarter, the MVP finalist had a nasty fall after getting rejected at the rim by Robin Lopez.

Embiid's play has been a huge reason for the team's 3-0 series lead, especially his playoff career-high 36-point effort in the 132-103 Game 3 victory.
