The annual GM survey is here!

For the 17th year in a row, NBA.com's John Schuhmann asked the league's general managers the same 49 questions about the upcoming season, ranging from which team will win the 2019 NBA Finals to which player you would want taking a shot with the game on the line.

Here are some of the highlights from the survey:

The Golden State Warriors are the favourites (87 percent) to win the title this season.

The Boston Celtics are considered easily the best team in the Eastern Conference, receiving 90 percent of the votes.

The best players at each position: Stephen Curry at point guard (57 percent), James Harden at shooting guard (73 percent), LeBron James at small forward (57 percent), Anthony Davis at power forward (37 percent) and ... Anthony Davis at center (40 percent).

Los Angeles Lakers All-Star LeBron James received the best odds (30 percent) to win MVP.

Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo is the player most GMs (30 percent) would want to start a franchise around today.

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray is the most likely player (20 percent) to have a breakout season

Kawhi Leonard is one of two players — the other being LeBron James — to receive votes for which player acquisition will make the biggest impact this season.

Kawhi Leonard is tied with Rudy Gobert (37 percent) for the best defensive player in the NBA. He received the most votes (60 percent) for the best perimeter defender.

LeBron James received the most votes for which player is the best passer (50 percent), which player is the best leader (30 percent), who is the most versatile (63 percent) and which player has the best basketball IQ (70 percent).
