The NBA has announced it is moving forward with plans to potentially resume the 2019-20 season with efforts focused on continuing play at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

While no official announcements have been made, the NBA is considering several scenarios for alternative playoff formats including a 1-16 re-seeding without conferences and a potential World Cup-style group stage format.
