Satnam Singh Bhamara has made a lot of Indian Basketball history in recent years.

In 2015, he became the first Indian-born player to be drafted into the NBA when he was picked 52nd overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the draft.

10 days later, he made history once again, becoming the first Indian-born player to sink an NBA bucket in his Summer League debut for the Mavericks.

The debut came against the New Orleans Pelicans in Mavericks' opener on Day 2 of the Summer League. In the loss, he finished with four points (1-3 FG), three rebounds and an assist while being +10 in his 11 minutes on the floor.

A day later, on Day 3 of the Summer League, he logged 13 minutes against the Portland Trail Blazers and finished with four points (2-4 FG) and two rebounds.

After three round robin games, the Mavericks, the 22nd seed, finished the 2015 Las Vegas Summer League in the eighth spot. They upset teams in the first and second rounds before bowing out of the tournament in the quarterfinals.
