In Game 5 of the 2010 Western Conference Finals, Ron Artest was the hero, coming up with the buzzer-beating putback to give the Los Angeles Lakers a 103-101 win over the Phoenix Suns.

With time winding down and the score tied, Kobe Bryant launched a three-pointer that fell short, before Artest produced the biggest offensive rebound of his career, beating everyone to the ball and laying it in to give the Lakers a 3-2 series lead.

"It means a lot for him," Bryant said. "I think for him emotionally, it's a big boost. ... Once I released the ball, I saw Ron sneaking in. I was just hoping that he got it off in time.

Artest finished with just four points on 2-of-9 shooting, but he delivered when it mattered most. Kobe Bryant led the way with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists, while Derek Fisher added 22 points, Pau Gasol 21 and Lamar Odom 17 off the bench.,

For the Suns, Steve Nash recorded 29 points and 11 assists, while Amare Stoudemire chipped in 19 point.

The Lakers went on to close out the series in six games, before beating the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals in seven games.
