#NBATogetherLive: Re-visiting Giannis Antetokounmpo's first career triple-double vs. Los Angeles Lakers in 2016

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has made filling up the box score look easy over the past few years, totaling 18 triple-doubles for his career.

In what was Kobe Bryant's final game in Milwaukee during the 2016 season leading up to retirement, Antetokounmpo seized the moment to put on a show against the Laker legend.

The Greek Freek poured in 27 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, four blocks, and three steals for his first career triple-double to lead the Bucks to a 108-101 win.

Antetokounmpo was on fire from the jump, scoring 12 points in the first quarter alone as the Bucks got up and down the floor with ease, piling on 58 points in the paint and 32 on fast breaks for the game.

They dished out 32 assists of the game and led by as many as 28 points in the wire-to-wire win.

The Bucks blew the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Lakers 36-17, capped off by this highlight-reel, off-the-backboard alley-oop from Khris Middleton to Antetokounmpo.

"He has the potential to [be a great player]," Bryant said of Antetokounmpo.

"He has the physical tools [and] intelligence. Now it's just a matter of him believing in himself and going after it. But he has the talent to be a great player."

Bryant famously challenged Antetokounmpo to win the Most Valuable Player of the Year award the following August, a feat he achieved shortly after in the 2018-19 season.

In 24 minutes on court, Bryant recorded 15 points on 3-of-12 from the field and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line.
