The trade deadline has come and passed.

Below, we've got you covered with the details of each deal as well as instant analysis of what it means for all teams involved. Head over here for more information regarding the biggest rumours that circulated ahead of the deadline.

As a reminder, some deals that are made right before the 3:00 p.m. deadline might not come in until after the horn. We'll also update you when deals are made official by the league.

Chicago Bulls land Nikola Vucevic

An All-Star is on the move.

The Chicago Bulls have acquired Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu from the Orlando Magic in exchange for Otto Porter, Wendell Carter Jr. and two first-round picks.

In Vucevic, Chicago gets another All-Star to pair alongside Zach LaVine, who earned the first All-Star selection of his career this year. Through 44 games, Vucevic is averaging a career-high 24.5 points to go along with 11.8 rebounds while shooting 48.0 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from beyond the arc.

It's a win-now move for the Bulls, who entered the day with a 1.5-game hold on the East's final play-in spot. Vucevic, who signed a four-year, $100 million deal with Orlando in 2019, is under contract through the 2022-23 season. 

The Magic now have a young centre in Carter, who is averaging 10.9 points and 7.8 rebounds in his third NBA season. Carter, who turns 22 in a few weeks, fits the development timeline of other Magic core pieces like Jonathan Isaac, Mo Bamba, Markelle Fultz, Chuma Okeke and Cole Anthony.

Denver Nuggets to receive Aaron Gordon

The Magic aren't done dealing, as they are sending Aaron Gordon and Gary Clark to the Nuggets in exchange for Gary Harris, RJ Hampton and a first-round pick.


Gordon, 25, recently expressed his frustration with Magic management about the team's recent losing ways and the writing was on the wall for an imminent trade. Despite missing time due to injury this season, Gordon is averaging 14.6 points and 6.6 rebounds in 25 games (all starts).

In his seventh NBA season, Gordon now joins a Nuggets team that is in prime position to move towards the top half of the Western Conference after a rough start to the season as they trail the injury-riddled Los Angeles Lakers by two games in the standings entering the day. Gordon brings athleticism and defence and fits the timeline of a young core that revolves around Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

Orlando continues to build draft capital and stock up young talent for the future, acquiring a future first-round pick and a 2020 first round pick in RJ Hampton, who struggled to find time in Denver's loaded backcourt. Widely considered a top high school recruit by many just two years ago, the 20-year-old Hampton will fit right in with the Magic's recent youth movement.

Miami Heat to acquire Victor Oladipo

Oladipo is on the move after all.

The Houston Rockets have motioned to move two-time All-Star Victor Oladipo to the Heat in exchange for Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and a draft swap.

Oladipo, who reportedly turned down a two-year $45.2 million extension after being acquired by Houston earlier in the season, is on the final year of a four-year $84 million deal that started in the 2017-18 season. The 28-year-old has long been linked to the Heat and now joins a team that is poised to make another run in the East after falling in six games in the 2020 NBA Finals.

Through 20 games as a Rocket, Oladipo has averaged 21.2 points, 5.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds and adds another dimension to the Heat, who entered the day a half-game behind the Charlotte Hornets for the East's fourth seed.

The Rockets pick up two expiring deals in Bradley and Olynyk and will clear roughly $18 million off the books should they not pick up Bradley's team option for the 2021-22 season.

Toronto Raptors send Norman Powell to Trail Blazers

The Toronto Raptors have agreed to send Powell to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood.


Powell, who was acquired by the Raptors on draft night in 2015, is in the midst of the best year of his career. Through 42 games (31 starts), the 27-year-old is averaging 19.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals while shooting 49.8 percent from the field, 43.9 percent from 3-point range and 86.5 percent from the charity stripe.

Powell is expected to decline his player option for the 2021-22 season to become an unrestricted free agent.

The 22-year-old Trent is averaging 15.0 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from beyond the arc through 41 games this season (23 starts). He's on the third and final year of his rookie-scale contract and will be a restricted free agent this offseason. 

Hood, 28, is back in action after undergoing surgery to repair a torn Achilles sustained early in the 2019-20 season. Through 38 games this season (five starts), Hood has averaged 4.7 points while shooting 36.3 percent from the field.

LA Clippers add Rajon Rondo

The Clippers have found a point guard.

LA is set to acquire Rajon Rondo in exchange for Lou Williams, two second round picks and cash considerations.

Rondo, who signed with Atlanta in the 2020 offseason, has averaged 3.9 points and 3.5 assists in just under 15 minutes of action over 27 games with the Hawks this season. For the Clippers, this is a move with the playoffs in mind, as Rondo is less than a year removed from averaging 8.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 5.2 rebounds over six games as the Lakers captured the 2020 NBA title.

This answers a major need for the Clippers, who needed to improve upon their guard depth outside of Patrick Beverley and Reggie Jackson. With Rondo, LA gets a floor general that will show his true value once the postseason comes around.

It's a homecoming for Lou Williams, who, in 2005, was drafted out of South Gwinnett High School, located less than an hour away from State Farm Arena. The three-time Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 12.1 points and 3.4 assists through 42 games this season (three starts).

Atlanta entered the day at 22-22 and is looking to make a push for its first postseason berth since the 2016-17 season.

Dallas Mavericks add J.J. Redick

The Dallas Mavericks have acquired Redick and Nicolo Melli from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for James Johnson, Wes Iwundu and a 2021 second-round pick.

Redick is in his 15th NBA season and, as a career 41.5 percent 3-point shooter, can replace some of the perimeter shooting that has been missed after the team parted ways with Seth Curry last offseason. The 36-year-old is on the final year of a two-year $26.5 million deal signed in the 2019 offseason and will be a free agent this upcoming offseason.

Melli, a 6-foot-9 forward, has the potential to add shooting to Dallas' frontcourt though he's struggled to find his stroke after shooting 33.5 percent from deep in 2019-20.

The Pelicans, who look to make a push into the playoff picture, receive a hard-nosed forward in Johnson, who is on the final year of his contract and will be a free agent in 2021. In Iwundu, New Orleans receives a versatile 6-foot-6 wing, who has yet to truly find his footing in the league.

Iwundu, 26, has one year remaining on a two-year $3.5 million deal signed in the 2020 offseason.

Boston Celtics acquire Evan Fournier

The Boston Celtics have acquired Evan Fournier from the Orlando Magic in exchange for two second-round picks.


Fournier, who is on the final year of a five-year $85 million deal signed in 2016, is averaging 19.7 points through 26 games this season. According to ESPN's Bobby Marks, this deal creates a $17.15 million trade exception with the deal, simultaneously decreasing the Celtics' record trade exception from $28.5 million to $11.05 million.

Thus continued the dealing for the Magic, who had traded their top two scorers this season while the Celtics add a much-needed scoring punch as they look to move back up in the standings.

Boston entered the day at 21-23 and in sole possession of the East's No. 8 seed.

New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers engage in three-team deal

The Sixers are bringing in George Hill in a deal that sends Austin Rivers and Tony Bradley to the Thunder, while the Knicks acquire Terrance Ferguson.


Hill finds himself back on a contender with Philadelphia after spending the last two postseasons with the Milwaukee Bucks. Hill, who turns 34 ahead of the playoffs, averaged 11.8 and 3.1 assists in 14 games with the Thunder this season (all starts); he brings heady guard play and leadership to a Sixers team that maintains their hold on the East's No. 1 seed and looks to make a deep postseason run.

Miami Heat acquire Nemanja Bjelica

The Heat acquired Nemanja Bjelica from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Moe Harkless and Chris Silva.


In Bjelica, Miami picks up a 6-foot-10 forward that is a career 38.8 percent shooter from beyond the arc. Bjelica, who will turn 33 before season's end, is currently having the worst shooting season of his career. Since moving to a full-time reserve role with the Kings, Bjelica is shooting just 29.3 percent from deep after connecting on 41.1 percent of his 3s in the previous two seasons.

An increased role in Miami could get Bjelica back to his rhythm with a team that heavily relies on shot-making for its offence to flow.

Report: Denver Nuggets acquire JaVale McGee

The Denver Nuggets are finalizing a deal to acquire JaVale McGee from the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Mike Singer of the Denver Post first reported that the Cavaliers would acquire Isaiah Hartenstein in return and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski added that Cleveland would also acquire two future protected second-round picks.

McGee, 33, averaged 8.0 points and 5.2 rebounds through his first 33 games with Cleveland this season. It's a reunion for the 7-footer, who appeared in 121 games with the Nuggets from 2011-15. McGee returns to Denver as a three-time champion after winning titles with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018 and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.

McGee adds frontcourt depth to a Denver team that entered the deadline ranked 20th in rebounds per game and 25th in blocks perr game. He'll back up MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, who leads the team with 35.7 minutes per game.

Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons swap guards

The Pistons have acquired Cory Joseph and two second-round picks from the Kings in exchange for Delon Wright.


Wright, who is averaging a career-high 10.4 points per through 36 games (31 starts) this season, will join a Kings backcourt that already features De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield and standout rookie Tyrese Haliburton. A 6-foot-5 combo guard, Wright has the capability of sharing the backcourt with any of Sacramento's talented guards and will likely do so in a reserve role.

Entering the day of the trade deadline, the Kings were three games back of the West's final play-in spot and the team could be positioning itself for a run to end a 15-year postseason drought.

Detroit, on the other hand, is the owner of the East's worst record. The Pistons bring in Joseph, who reunites with former head coach Dwane Casey, with whom he spent two years with as a member of the Toronto Raptors. Joseph, a 10-year veteran and former NBA champion, has been the consummate heady guard throughout his career and can serve as a mentor for young Pistons guards like Killian Hayes, Frank Jackson, Saben Lee and Dennis Smith Jr.

Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards make a deal

The Wizards and Bulls initially agreed upon a deal that was expanded to include the Celtics. The full three-team deal resulted in this:

– Wizards acquire Daniel Gafford and Chandler Hutchison

– Celtics acquire Luke Kornet and Moe Wagner

– Bulls acquire Daniel Theis, Javonte Green, Troy Brown Jr. and cash considerations from the Celtics and Wizards

Jazz acquire Matt Thomas from Raptors

The Raptors have agreed to send Matt Thomas to the Utah Jazz in exchange for a future second-round pick.

Thomas, 26, is in his second NBA season and has appeared in 26 of the Raptors first 42 games in the 2020-21 season. Through 67 NBA games, Thomas has connected on 64 of 140 3-point attempts, making him a career 45.7 percent shooter from deep.

Now, Thomas is reportedly set to join a Jazz team that knocks down a league-leading 17.0 triples per game at a 39.7 percent clip. The team has been linked to shooters ahead of the deadline and Thomas has an opportunity to carve a role as yet another shooter in Utah's potent offence.

Raptors send Terence Davis to Kings

The Raptors are sending guard Terence Davis to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for a future second-round pick.

The Athletic's Blake Murphy added that the second-round pick is for the upcoming draft and is coming to Toronto from Sacramento via the Memphis Grizzlies.

Davis, who is in his second year after going undrafted in 2019, has struggled to build upon an All-Rookie campaign in the 2019-20 season. The 23-year-old has picked up 10 DNP-CDs through 44 games after appearing in each of the team's 72 games during his rookie season.

Davis is in the final year of a two-year deal signed with the Raptors in the summer of 2019 and will look to carve a role on a Kings roster that features a number of guards including De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton and reported trade-deadline acquisition of Delon Wright.
