The Washington Wizards have been busy as the NBA Trade Deadline approaches.

MORE: Bulls acquire Otto Porter Jr. from Wizards for Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis

According to multiple reports, the Wizards reached an agreement with the New Orleans Pelicans to acquire Wesley Johnson in exchange for Markieff Morris.

The Wizards will also send a 2023 second-round draft pick to the Pelicans as a part of the deal.

The reported move is the Wizards' second of the day after earlier agreeing to a deal with the Bulls to send Otto Porter Jr. to Chicago.

It means the Wizards will now be under the 2019-20 tax threshold and won't be subject to repeater taxes, per The Athletic's David Aldridge.

The 29-year-old Morris will join a loaded Pelicans frontcourt after averaging 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists through 34 games.

Despite the host of moves ahead of the Trade Deadline, the Wizards have no intentions of moving All-Star Bradley Beal.

The latest reported trade comes after the Wizards' 148-129 loss at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks.
