NBA Playoffs 2019: NBA Twitter reacts in appreciation to Clippers Game 5 upset win over Warriors

With the Houston Rockets advancing to the Conference Semifinals earlier in the day, the Golden State Warriors were looking to do the same. 

Trailing 3-1 in the series, the LA Clippers had other ideas. 

Behind a 33-point, 10-assist night from Lou Williams, they avoid elimination and force Game 6 back in Los Angeles in a couple of days. 

However, it was a complete team effort. The Clippers overcame Kevin Durant's 45-point night by having five players score in double figures. They outrebounded the Warriors, outscored them in the paint, shot better from the field, and handed the Warriors their second straight home playoff loss. 

The Clippers' fight led them to the win while also getting praise from the other players in the league - current and retired.
